So... I've been working on things. Haven't had time to make final decisions. I've been very indecisive and just super busy with life and other classes. But I created a couple of mood boards The first one is more girly as well as modern. The icons and designs of shells are simplified and minimal. This seems more contemporary and up to date with other motion graphic designers. The colors are soft but because the colors are complimentary they pop a lot more. The second is vintage nautical. The seashells are more sketchy and detailed. There is also higher contrast in this one. The sea foam green color is emphasized in both mood boards, however one feels more feminine where the other feels classy. Then I worked on narrowing down my colors. This was slightly challenging. I originally had colors from a resume I made for myself. I liked them, but the colors vibrated a little too much. I used the Color Tool on Material Design in order to try out different shades o...

My Mission Statement

As you know, a mission statement can say a lot about a person. Here are some trends that I noticed about myself while I was writing... Who am I, what's my story? This could be a strength but also a weakness. I like to be adventurous, and travel and explore different cultures and places that relate to art history. I also love learning about the mind and how people think and the factors that might change people's behavior. I love the ocean, even though I live in a landlocked stat...

What IS my niche?

What I do know, is that I love editing videos. I have so much joy piecing together a story that gets people excited for events or a movie. I also love to create awareness for troubling subjects, such as mental illness or issues that have long needed to be solved, like hunger or homelessness. I want to use this knack for video that I have in order to help bring people together, learn about what is going on in our world, no matter how big or small, and inspire them to take action. ...or just make really cool title sequences or movie trailers. Anyways, I noticed that a lot of my work has a darker tone to it. I like the weird, unusual and suspenseful. I love looking at the details in things in order to know the whole picture. I also dig deeper into the meaning of things, looking for multiple perspectives of t...
