My New Mission and Brand Statements
Yesterday and today I really sat down to try and figure out what my mission statement and brand statement to say. I looked back at my notes for my previous statement, which was this: With a bubbly personality, and a twisted perspective on the otherwise ordinary, I create videos that encourage people to step outside of their comfort zones to take action and achieve the extraordinary. This was a bit long and a little vague, according to Brian and a few of my peers. Though it distinguishes myself from others, as some peers say, it isn't quite fully there. I realized that my mission statement was closer to a brand statement. So in order to figure out what these statements are, I wrote down what my goals, expectations and motivations are. From this I found words such as inspire, creativity, change, curiosity, and action. I believe that a video should make you do something.
